Animal Crossing: City Folk

Z likes to cyber on this game over Wi-Fi.

...This is one of the funnest games to play on wifi.

It is! They need an Animal Crossing Online where players from all across the world can meet up at the city or somewhere and hang out!

That would be a good idea for a mmo. I would so buy it!

Next time we should definitely play games or do glitches. You know, the normal Animal Crossing wifi activities. It makes things so much more enjoyable.

We should definately do some of the events like we did during my ACCFC site's life.

Yep and some of the usual activites like sumo wrestling races, the glitches, etc.

I really, really need to get this game. I loved the GameCube version, and (as Z knows) Wild World is my favorite DS game (my DS Lite is pretty much dedicated to WW, haha). I'm an Animal Crossing nut xD

Yes, you do NEED to get this game! Although it doesn't make many changes to the past titles, it is always the game I go to when I am in the mood for an Animal Crossing game, over the others. The customization is definitely better and for some reason I like the console Animal Crossings more than the handheld one. That might change with Animal Crossing 3DS, though! Hype, hype, hype, hype!

I completely agree with you. It sucks that, while it makes it more realistic, you have to actually wait for them to ask you when randomly talking to them in order to jobs for them. But the jobs have certainly become more difficult I think.

Animal Crossing 3DS? Great, now my Resetti can pop out in three dimensions and yell at me.

On a somewhat on-topic note, is anyone familiar with The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing? (Warnings on language and violence)

It has to be the creepiest thing that started funny ever. You will never think of this game the same way after reading it!

Yeah, I forgot to say I read it all in that one day you told me about it in one sitting, and it was fantastic! And you are right, I will never think of it the same way again! I'm trying to show a bunch of people it now on other forums and in real life.

Onto the major topic again, is this game worth getting? Or would it be better for me to wait for the extra creepy Mii edition for the 3DS? Baring in mind I prefer the first game over the DS version, of course, I think I'd prefer the console game over another tiny screen debt adventure.

I wasn't too fond of the portable Animal Crossing title either, and I also much preferred the console versions. I personally love Animal Crossing: City Folk, but others argue that it didn't change much from Wild World, though I still think it's a fantastic game. I will definitely be picking up Animal Crossing 3DS once I pick up my 3DS, as well though.

Maybe I will check it out, then, because there were parts of Wild World that I enjoyed.

Yeah, and I prefer it much more on a home console. Also, I'm just telling you right now that the city was a VERY minor addition, that many were disappointed by.

Still, pick it up so we can hang out on WiFi!
